Delivered on Friday afternoon about halfway through my 14, being Labor Day Weekend I was concerned I might be stuck out there til Tuesday. Sat for almost a day then scored a nice run from SLC through home. Will deliver Tuesday then spend a couple days at home afterward.

Last week took a load out of El A to Kentucky delivery for Sunday morning but no one was home. Came back next morning there were too many trucks for that little alley way street. No detention pay either which sux because I was hammer down to make it on time, would be nice to get something back to cover the wasted fuel for no reason (day early delivery time)..

slc, ut. missed the trip with the inlaws, but for the record my hometime was for tomorrow so i'm still technically a day early. and have been, if not right on time then at least a day early, every time since may.

I like that 49er. Too bad it's such a rip off for parking. You have to spend $75/day and provide receipts, or pay to park. No idea where they think a trucker has $75/day worth of money laying around.

I think it's $75 in fuel or $20 a day in receipts. I'll park there when I'm on home time. The security when I'm away from the truck is worth it.

Ft. Stockton, TX. Took a load from Lancaster to Hidalgo for a Sunday delivery. Customer was locked and then I got a resched for Tuesday. DM fixed me up, tcalled at a local yard and got the trip I'm on now to Las Vegas.

They must have changed it since I was there last. It was ....wait....$50/day in receipts....maybe...(I might have gotten the figure mixed up with that one over by Chicago.) ...but way more than $20. Either way, it's a rip off. Yes, get fuel. 75 gallons, I think.

They only started counting restaurant receipts in January. Before, all your receipts had to be from the store.

But, it is nice for a truck stop in California.

Tallapossa, GA. What a great day with more rain and 4 wheelers returning home.
