....and in other news, Two men were arrested last night after drag racing a Peterbilt and a Kenworth down Main Street. Officers said they were clocked at 95 miles per hour, side by side and laughing at each other. There was a hot grill on the back of the Kenworth with two RibEye steaks nearly ready to eat. The Peterbilt had a cooler strapped to the back with several brands of soda and potato salad in it. No comment was made by the driver of the black Kenworth, but the driver of the red Peterbilt was reported to have said, "Aw, come on....we was only havin a little bit of fun!"

The cooler and grill were confiscated by authorities. Alcohol has not been reported as being a factor....blah, blah, blah....

Yep. I can see it now.

 

Well.... I stuffed myself for the Second Night here in Laredo at the Golden Coral. Did a lot of walking today also. Legs are going to be sore when I get back in the seat tomorrow!

 

Got to admit, that's a good one!

 

They were being followed at a considerable distance by a fat guy in a red Volvo that claimed that he thought he smelled steaks cookin' and was hungry....

My vacation really starts today...pre-op visit with the doctor...errands....go see my kids three hours away....take out the trash....buy toilet paper (yes, my wife put it on the list)...
