Thanks DNA for your help. I kinda figured it would be a hassel to get things sorted out cause you may not be able to walk into an office and get things straightened things out. I've told him he basically has to call them daily to get someone to help him. And don't quit till you do!
Is anyone else having any problems with Knight?

Tell your husband to get away from Knight, ASAP- It won't be long before they'll try to force him to run illegal, make him drive all night without sleep and falsify his logs in order to make it "legal" for him to do so. And good luck getting paid detention, layover and local run pay. I've been with them for 3 years (today is my last day) and the most miles I ever got in a week is 2100.

I think we have a nickname for Erick nowotherhalftw Thanks this. -
BTW, I hear that Fontana has a shop NOW [I had to put up with that Hell Hole for 5 yrs when working CA, with 1/2 the yard leased to other co.s (23 at one time) and competing for Knight parking, as well as never an MT (w/o a 'red padlock' reserving for the locals) being found!]; but if I had to drive 'out of' Fontana like Erick, I would be pissing & moaning all of the time also...my condolences... -
I had forgot about the locks on the empty trailers at Fontana and the oversll anti-driver feelings oozing from that place, like most Knight facilities. Never before in my life had I faced so many obstacles just to work for a dumpy company. I can remember being told to drop my empty or leave the yard by the terminal manager himself. I knew this job before I came to Knight and had first hand knowledge the pro and cons if driving. Feel sorry for all of those new guys who think that's just how trucking is....cuz it's not. Knight just sucks.

BTW, many/most "rookie" drivers with Knight 'WILL" drop their MT's when met at the gate, and then end up paying for that poor but compliant decision with no loads for several days while they drive around L.A. looking for MT's on multiple wild goose chases.... -
And the part about running illegal logs? Knight has been running elogs for at least a year now, and you WILL NOT run illegal with that system. Not unless you are stupid enough to do it when you know better.
Knight is hardly the best job out there, but you just look foolish when you post stuff like the above. -

The geniuses in Phoenix decided they didn't want me using the 2-hour exception, so they falsified my ELECTRONIC logs by changing my pre-trip, p/u, fuel and scale to line 1 and my drive time to cust p/u and truckstop for fuel and scale to line 5. Don't tell me.
