Safe in Billings, OK. Was right behind a big truck with van that fell over and spun around leaving his cargo strewn about the eastbound I-70 lanes in KS today. Think the driver was ok. Heard he might have had co-driver or other pax in back that had been torn up some. Couldn't stay. They waved us on. Kudos to the civilian vollunteers who teamed up and cleaned the debris off the roadway so traffic could move on. I would have assisted, but I was too far back in line. Nice to see folks rise to the occasion.:biggrin_25520:

Cullman, AL. Went to Oktoberfest today. It wasn't what I expected at all. No artcraft selling, no boths, no big crowds, no bands.... :biggrin_25513: A couple of people selling hot dogs, chocolate... tables filled with junk for sale, a payground area for kids, a covered area with lots of chairs and one guy dressed in German costume playing typical German songs.... At 2 pm some people had left already.... I heard this "festival" goes till next weekend but I wonder what else there will be there... I heard this year they will be selling beer at the festival... I guess they will need much more than that to make it more interesting...
