I myself love Laredo.
But you wont find me in the Pilot's. The T/A is a much better hang out. -
The TA is where I would always go,if I am thinking right,(?) it is right across the street from the "J"? Sometimes the TA would charge $10 for parking, some times not;still,if one spends $10 in the store,(c'mon who doesn't do that) its free, plus, lots of parking..i.e.,dont have the,'Clowns to the left of me,joker's to the right' situation..

Plus,desert walks, looking for illegals & drug smuggler's,are free.:smt067 :smt071 -
Outskirts of Spokane. Lost my passenger side headlight last night in Post Falls. No problem, get a new lightbulb, right?
Wrong. It was wiring. Repair shop is on the other side of the brand new Spokane scale that is always open and never bypasses any truck regardless of the fact they can turn the Norpass system on if they want to. I'm not about to cross that new scale with a headlight out and half a dozen cops with itchy citation pens.
So I jumped to the marker light wire. Got to the shop, where I was told I would need a wiring harness. BS! Overlay the offending wire, repair my little splice and send me on my way. What, do I look like an idiot or something? A whole wiring harness for a single leaky wire? Only reason I didn't do it myself is I didn't feel like crawling around in the rain on a pee soaked pavement trying to fix it in the dark. So yes, I will save myself time and hassle and pay someone else to do it. But no, I am not buying an entire wiring harness. -
I'm not too far from you. Loves in ellenburg, wa. I actually had to get my fan clutch fixed at freightliner this side of spokane yesterday.

Give em hell Injun..
Or..Come on over to the Midwest;Where,it is much mellower.
Injun Thanks this. -
Flying J ex45 I70 in Pa i believe...just cruising. Despite running on recirculating hours, 300mi runs, and going to the north east, i'm still going to make out with 25kmiles for this pay period.. i'm happy somewhat.. want to get into the NE a little more though, i felt completely naked, lost, and unprepared in Boston. Half the roads are under ground, a quarter dont believe in intersections, and the other quater doesn't allow trucks.
-
Which brings to mind....How can you bring up a story of a possible "fun house",and not give a report on what goes on there?
-
i'm not sure what it is.. but it's surely shady... i know the truck stop was deader then a door nail when i left around 0100, were about 50 empty parking spaces, maybe a few less.. it sure wasn't anything like the Flying J in San Antonio...
