Lancaster still. Doing the shuttle fill in tomorrow. Did a test load at Nestle here in Dallas today. They put me in a day cab, super single, with one one hundred gallon fuel tank, full by the way, hooked to one of the new ultra lite trailers. Picked up a water load weighing 51,557 pounds. Total weight was 78,180 and it scaled just fine. The driver is off tomorrow for far west Texas to a Sams Club DC north of Dumas I believe. He's got hotel nights in his future!

I shoulda listened to ya. I ended up in Laredo couple weeks back out of hours which was fine knowing how long we sit down there anyway, so took a 34 and bounced out to NC. Turn and burn back to Sealy TX and boom another 34. Well, they did offer Brownsville, I wasn't going for the trifecta on that one.... Set me up on a little shorty 350 mile pick up in Houston to bounce out to Louisiana for the big mile backup plan, however Houston shorty got cancelled. Got a different shorty up to Dallas. Next plan says go get this 1 mile load out of Lancaster then 800 mile backup after. Well, I remembered Blubonn didn't have success with turning down short load accepting long load, so I tried to game the system by setting my PTA after the shorty but before the longie, but alas, no go both got pulled off my truck.

Finally got out of Texas, working my way up to Salina KS then homeward bound. I think I'm with ya on the whole no go to Texas thing hunnerbunner.

I have to admit, the last three times in Laredo, never once sat for more than 12 hours, in fact the last time, before I got there, did a Mac 30 and there was a offering sitting right on the yard for NC. All three times, I have pulled long out of there. Of course short getting there, usually out of Dallas or Houston.

    Still in Guangzhou, China

Getting out of Laredo quickly also minimizes your chances of contact with folks involved in illegal activity. Laredo is, after all, the #1 choice for drug and weapons smugglers.

Greencastle, pa TA. Kmart dc would not give me an mt so I bobtailed here. Jokes on them cause I have permission to bt back there tomorrow to pick up my preloaded trailer for my next load, only going to Wilkes-Barre sears DC but I can use a quick stop at the Walmart up there and I'm going to bet I'll have a load out of Gatorade not long after my mt call. I'm going to guess going to Indy, that would make 5 times I have gotten the exact same run from there.

Wow what a hectic couple of days. I've been up against it for these two loads because in order to make the second one on time, first one needs to be on time. Got to first preplan load and they weren't ready. I was there 8 hours before loaded so 4 hours late to final then had to really turn and burn for the second preplan. Was only going to be 15 minutes late but got Level III at the Kansas scale. Popped for 390.21(b). If you have your company's name on the door, make sure you have some letters that spell out "Operated By" near it because people have been known to die on the interstates from truckers running the highways without those letters.

Oh forgot to mention, Salina KS. Went to pick up my load and the 2 back pins on slider tandems are destroyed from previous driver(s) having stopped hard without the pins engaged. Anyway now I will have to return to shipper about 1AM (yay) for transload and this load 3 stopper ends up at home. Need to hunt down the driver who dropped this trailer and punish him/her for not pretripping.

So are these words supposed to be by Swift's name (where they all say "Leased to:" or is it supposed to be by your own company name?

This is serious s***, here. People could die!
