Failing a road test won't ruin your trucking career. You would have to go another company and go through training again. I've never failed. If you weren't issued a truck it won't be on your dac. The trainer you had should be demoted or fired. I wouldn't turn you over to the road testing department unless you were ready for the test. Don't let it get you down. Their is a positive side to this. Now you know what not to do on the test.

I agree KLATU, failing a road test is not the end of your career. You have always have "OPTIONS" First, if shifting is your problem, think about going to a company that has automatic. Second, some companies will fail you just because that's what they been told to do from the "TOP", they simply don't like you or they have finish using you to the nth degree.....they need new bait, Werner is a good example. Third, do your reseach on these trucking companies like they do on "YOU".

"Yip" I have had road test people tell me that I was one person that didn't scare them. In other words, just go slow. They don't mind that a bit.
