Finally off safety hold, now have to attend 1 on 1 tomorrow, and replace the windshield. Had a small crack in it on friday, about 1.5" up from the bottom and 1.5" accross, went through the wash bay, and the small crack extended all the way up to the top of the windshield. Then found out when submit the claim, (which I have the extra windshield ins), it will be on my DAC as a incident, non-preventable.

Thank you for that little tidbit. I guess when I decide I've had enough of this sand pitted windshield, I'll go to a private shop and pay out of pocket.

Yep, I could not believe that when they told me this. That would bring up a question, if it is so badly pitted that it becomes a safety issue, then would that be a non-preventable incident on the DAC. When I have my 1 on 1 in the morning, I am going to try and get a clarification from Safety. The safety director for my POD could not believe this morning that it took this long to get off safety hold, for the DOT certificate that I turned in, by hand on Friday morning. He knew that I was just some miffed.

Got a load going to Bozeman Montana and preplanned on a load out of the same place. I remember reading about Bozeman as a kid. Red Cloud and Crazy Horse brilliantly defeating the American occupiers of their lands. Feels strange going there after the United States treated that land over to Red Cloud all those years ago and now it is an interstate. I suppose thousands of people drive right on by without a care or thought of the history of the places they go through....

Still in PHX. Got the windsheild replaced and they showed up 3 hours late. Decided to sty right here since the good loads where gone. Wait until the morning. Had my 1 on 1 yesterday, and the safety director was pulling up my log all the way back to April, no violations, so asked why I am here for this, then went up and pulled some more, and found some speeding violations, computer was kicking them out, 63.5 mph. He said, not worry, then my DM told me, stop speeding. I am like, fine, what ever you say. One was 8 hours, 501 miles. Go figure.

Now trying to decide, stay another day and take my truck back to KW in the morning, get the 13 speed done. Figure, all that I have already spent this week, why not spend another $200

Finally got out of PHX. Now in Las Cruzes, NM. 3 stop load, first on Monday, Hammond, LA, then up to Olive Branch and Memphis for Tuesday. Tried a MAC 30 this morning, and was told that not eligible. I thought that all O/O, no matter the ranking, was eligible. My ranking was 0

Gotta have 99.5% or better ontime deliveries, no more than 1 preventable accident and something like a projected annual mileage of 110,000 for macro 30. I've been here 18 months and my ranking shows just 106,000 miles lol which cannot be right. I peaked sometime in June around 112,000 miles and have been dropping ever since. My ranked loads have been going down too for some reason.

I thought the company was supposed to keep accurate track of our mileage so they know when we get to each 1 million milestone. I also thought if you left Swift for example the miles are recorded somewhere and your next company tacks your new miles on there as well so your million miles doesn't have to start over.
