Actually, my recollection of it (after having driven in LA and Orange Counties for 20+ years) is that driving in LA on Friday afternoon isn't bad--by then, every Los Angelino is on I-15 heading east to Lost Wages! Where you do NOT want to be is inbound to LA on Sunday afternoon when they all return...all 8 million of 'em, one person per car.

It's a law.

Was to be heading back to Reno over the weekend but a snafu in the steel mill changed my plans.
So I'm gonna try it again Monday.

Yeah. And, oh, how I hate this headache...

 

Still in Laredo. Today I exchanged a camisole because I forgot I already had a black one so I exchanged it for a pink one. Then I went to Johnny Carino's because I had never been before and wanted to try it. My calamari was nice, the salad was okay, the chicken and shrimp pasta was great, my server was wonderful but the tiramisu for dessert was a disappointment.
