Yeah... I've talked to my flatbed friends about such things myself. Can't say I'd want the exposure to one of those DOT-trained-revenue-collectors! :biggrin_25512:

Les, doesn't that Shaker have a good jake? If memory serves me right, the older ones were pretty stout.

Mine does but the ones that come stock on mechanical Cat's weren't worth crap.

Getting caught off route in that county is worse than getting bust by the scales. The worst they can do i get me for over on an axle.

You'd be surprised by these guys. Most in the state are pretty cool laid back officers.

    W/S doesn't have 24 hour breakdown??

    I'm at the yard.

While I was home this time, the first flurry of the season decided to come through. It wasn't anything dramatic, but everything looked like one of those cakes with powdered sugar sprinkled over for a while. By morning, it had all melted. One thing I like about winter: While everything is covered with snow, it all looks so clean.

Sorry, but that just sucks. A company that size has no excuse for not having 24/7 emergency maintanance, or at least a couple of people with reference cards in front of them to try to help out.

Les2, 07-379Pete, ironpony and 3 others Thank this.
