I've seen the backside of these stories too. On my last Greyhound trip last summer I saw a guy with a huge pile of personal belongings, refrig, microwave, cbs 2 dufflebags and a briefcase at the Wytheville Va bus station. I really did not speak to him, but you could tell by the stuff he was a truck driver. Don't know if he was fired and on way home, or going to get a truck. Either way it was painful watching this guy struggle with his stuff. If this driver you are talking about don't stop with the HOS violations he will be in the same shape as this other guy was, or he will be sponsoring a fire sale at a local truck stop.

If they sell their stuff at cut rate prices, cool! Better deals for us!

It's funny how someone can ask a question on here, and it quickly gets off of the title of the post.:biggrin_25517: Just staying.
    Stay safe drivers

The OP didn't invest in THREADJACK tm. It's like Lowjack for your thread. When someone hijacks it, THREADJACK activates an alarm on the OPs computer, Hands out tut-tuts to the hijackers and deletes all posts not related to the OPs question. Didn't you read about that in the FAQ? :biggrin_2554::smt043

I have been off the road for two years and am thinking about driving again. Any opinions on USA Trucking? How about Covenant or US Express. (I live in South Alabama) Thanks

To xpiscott- I worked for USA I started withoutout c1 just cdl-a license
Through a reg driving school starting pay was .26cpm. All companies
are about the same. I enjoyed my time with USA , and thinking of
returning again. I guess it depends on your fleet manager mine was
Good to me never had any problems with him. Sometimes you don't
get home on time, but never the less when u get there you will get
proper hometime. Hope this post helps you or any1 else looking into USA
