Sorry to hear that ...
Or maybe more ... If you are delivering to the newspaper, they will take you a day early. Though I don't know how it will play with the holidays. -
Its not soo bad here.. im just here to sleep is all.. watch the pot holes out back, wow..
Im gonna try n deliver early, not going to rush getting there, but ill be a day early for sure. Be nice to snag something quick out of texas though... -
Evanston, WY.
Boy, am I going to be reamed for my idle time this month.
Low of 4 tonight, near that tomorrow night.
Denver for a couple days with low of 11.
So, guess what?
I have to idle all the time if I don't want my fuel to gel - or me to freeze to death.
Got a run out of Denver to Salt Lake. Picked up the 24th and delivers the 26th, so I have a full day to kill.
Oh well, at least I'll get a reset out of it. (even though my home time and time in the shop for a B-service did just that)
I guess I'll probably finish up watching Stargate SG-1.
Only 3 seasons left.
On the bright side, I had a great couple days with my girls.
Got the truck serviced and it is running great.
And, back on the road again.
Now all I have to do to avoid a safety hold is get to a sim class by Friday.

When I went to bed it was 23 degrees last night here in Gallup NM, so I wasn't too concerned about fuel gelling issues, but woke up a little while ago shivering lol, it was 7 degrees. Quickly fired her up and closed some windows. Normally I have to leave some windows cracked open when using the bunk heater otherwise I bake upstairs.I wish I knew where the block heater plug in was on this truck-- I'd fire up my 2000 watt Honda and warm it up that way.

Okay, here's the deal. If you leave that stuff at home I'll wear the dang elf's outfit again! Now that we can run team, I'm going to be really nervous when we are parked...Injun and scottied67 Thank this.

I meant to ask-- Moosetek , do you have a bunk heater?
Here's a few pics from the last few days:
Pigeon farmer bought several thousand tons of this shredded/chipped mesquite BBQ bits. It's way cheaper than oyster shell bits for the 5000 birds he has evidently. This is his dock lol, he uses chains to pull the pallets out to the end of the trailer.
And here's an old burnt orange retired Prostar Buzzard doing some of the best work it's done in its life.
And this truck's fuel gelled up overnight so the guys are going 'oldskool' to warm up the block and fuel tanks, although you can't see the fires under the tanks from this angle.Attached Files:
