OK texts are back up. I was in eating breakfast and got a message to pick up and deliver in Phoenix AZ. Bear in mind I'm in Albuquerque NM right now and on my way to deliver to SLC UT.

So my anxiety starts winding up bigtime, see yesterday I had to digitally sign an acknowledgement over the QC that I read and was counseled regarding citations/violations. I never did get counseled, but by signing evidently it cleared my safety hold. Left a message for safety guy to call me back and discuss this. Anyway, eating breakfast there, seeing p/u and del in Phoenix, I thought "that's it, they are cancelling my contract."

But when I got back on the truck to actually see the message, it was p/u in Phoenix and del to Dallas then return to Phoenix. 2000+ miles, picks up today (Wed) and returns on Friday-- obvious team load.

A bigger concern is, why are they planning a truck that is in ALBU for PHNX that is already loaded going to SLC?

Edit: 644 miles deadhead was included in the preplan lol, I don't think even a team could do this turn in the short amount of time allowed.

I think the new computer stuff is messing with the planners too. Yesterday was sitting next to another Swift truck getting loaded and he got a call from a planner wanting to know when he was going to deliver. Thing is they were asking about a load he tcalled in Ocala 4 days ago and here we are sitting in Fort Worth. Just after that I got a message on the QC asking what my eta to the shipper is and I had sent my mac 1 1 1/2 hours ago.

    scottied67 Thanks this.

In my truck too right now, was only inside for a few moments earlier tonight. Pretty sure I'll be at the house for the night tomorrow.

Well, looks like the truck needs to go over to the KW shop to fix wiper motor, its warranty issue.. so I refused, as I don't want to sit for a week.. sux
did mt call this morning, was given 2 pp right away, as I was sending mac 9 to accept 1st one, they took both off me. Wtf..
8hrs left on my 14 as I sit here waiting for a load.. $100 says I get a pp when my 14 is down to minutes left.. lol

Yup, and the system will have expected you to be on a fresh 14 a couple hours after that - fully rested and ready to go.
