I try not to be judgemental.

You may not know if they left him hanging and refused to pay downtime or layover or whatever.

I do not feel it is right, but who knows.

    Thou shall not steal.

    Report it, why question it.

I can't right now, I have no way to download the mpeg to my laptop. My video camera uses the old firewire system and this laptop has no firewire port. If I can find someone with a firewire port I will try.

    A thief is a thief!

I don't care if they left him hanging or if they set his car on fire and had a weenie roast in the parking lot...

Next time a broker doesn't pay me detention time for....Am I entitled to take his car?

I would definitely report it. Let fuel Econ dept know what theft really looks like. Then they will stop harassing me about it.

I had a badly loaded Miller load from distributor in Ohio going to Miami once. So much weight on the front of the trailer that I couldn't run legally with more than 1/2 tanks. I had to make multiple fuel stops on the way down, sometimes putting less than 35 gallons in at a time. One stop in particular was out of network and was for 28 gallons. Fuel Econ tried to accuse me of theft. After arguing with them I gave up and just told the guy to ask the truck stop to review the camera and we'd see who was right. They let it go after that.

It does irritate me when it happens. I know that those local container haulers down in Houston are always asking on the radio for it. They call it "Discount Diesel.". I've seen a Schneider driver do it before for a local.

I try to not be judgemental because if I was there might be people like you that I would refuse to treat or save as an emt.

I have seen what looked like it might be fuel theft before, but this was brazen and out in the open. I still can't believe I saw this.

c'mon man. it's like a $ 4. 23 adapter to get that old ### cam corder to upload video to a lap top. All this virtual snitch drama and no proof is rather unfullfilling. That is why I say, "if you have credable evidence show me something but if you do not then save the bandwidth"
