Hebron, IN. Feels good to be back on the road again. Had one pplan, cancelled before I had a chance to accept, and glad that it did. It was a 290 miles ld for today. Instead, in place received a 790 miles ld of fiberglass going to the Twin Cities.

It comes from a country song 'Going through the Big D, and I don't mean Dallas' referring to divorce. Detroit is probably the Big D as well for those locals. The same for the east coast, when one refers to 'the city' they think NYC and the west coast 'the city' is San Francisco.

Upon further thought, I agree probably a yard donkey. This kind of damage to just 2 tires suggest the brakes were frozen to the drums. Swifties are taught not to engage the trailer brakes during their 10's, but if it was a drop at a frozen over DC someplace, very well could have frozen and the yard goat dragging it around without noticing or caring.

Well I got food poisoning at Towaoc CO which made me so sick I was hoping for death. Sent my mac 22 late call with 24 extra hours on the load so they could make up their mind to repower or not, they didn't say anything so I thought it was cool. Once I got feeling better I made some miles, only 395 yesterday, but qualcomm beeped about 1AM, "load critical, must be there on time!. Send mac 22." I just replied, "load will be late for sure." Crickets.. All Day. Got here about 7 hours late, they don't seem too upset at all.

Nope. Here in Michigan, Detroit is "Detroit" or "the East Side." The Big D has always been Dallas...unless, of course, Mark Chestnutt is singing. :biggrin_25520:
