I tried to login yesterday and was denied... My user name and/or password haven't been updated in the last 3 months. So I sent them request to update my info and the lazy, worthless $&*@ SOBs haven't sent me response yet.

Agree.... But you know how you and anybody can "help"? If/when you get a ticket or a warning or any violation that you believe it's unfair, unjust, plain wrong, FIGHT it, challenge it, do whatever you can... and tell others to do the same. We must give FMCSA a hard time and show them how wrong they are. We can't just take every #$%& they throw at us.

You may not have heard but another good point about elogs is the upgrading capacity they have.They can communicate via satellite, Wifi, and/or cell phone towers. Well anyway, developers are working on a fingerprint reader on the screen wherein the driver would have to identify along with their ID and password, a fingerprint before the truck will move. There will be a master password that a tow truck driver could call the company for or a repo agent etc. So you could leave your truck idling, doors wide open and go take a shower that truck ain't moving mister.

 

Unless you run afoul of Russian mobsters who will cut off your hand to steal your truck.

 

The fingerprint thing is just the beginning. Version 2.0 will be an iris scan where you look into the camera that is hidden within the screen already watching you and it reads your eye, iris and makes sure your pupils are working correctly by flashing an ultraviolet ray into your eye like a welding spark. This way someone cannot cut your eye out and point it at the elog just to steal your truck.

i was just put on them this week.. and will b out of this company in 2 weeks and with someone who does not have them and as far as all the illegal runnin companies bein put out of buisness will never happen.. just the ones who dont know how to do it without gettin caught..
