Ok, I have alot to inform you about, I hired on at J.B back in August 2011. At first they seemed really cool and the best money I made with them was on General freight, then in september they offered me " A great oppourtunity" ha ha, they put me on the Georgia pacific account, which was the kiss of death. My $800-850 a week turned into crap and on several weeks they handed me a $370 pay check, with a straight face. Your fleet manager is one of 50, he's probably never been in a truck and has not even the sleightest clue about how things really go on the road. He will pre-plan your loads and make it tight as he can to keep jb raking in GP money, & most of the time they don't factor in Murphy's law (traffic, delays at the customers, tire failures,) they even assume when you will exactly get your 34 hour break, and if you have any delays your loads next week, or beyond your 34 restart are already screwed, then you will be given the lame excuse that its your fault because you weren't able to keep their schedule. They will shut you down on New years eve for 12 hours until new years day and the delay will, you guessed it mess up your remaining pre-plans & your runs for next week. And you will be blamed and shamed. They also dont tell you that they cut your pay 6 cents a mile when you accept the Georgia Pacific account, you will run as hard as you can and be paid as much as a school grad, even with 5 years experience, I was informed that I was having low pay due to being late for loads, but acccording to the Jb hunt website I maintained a 91% on time rating, $875 dollars a week will be your goal but you will reach it minimally at best. And everyday you will be prompted to send in a corny redundant safety message to tell them exactly how you will be safe everyday & they want you to be creative and new everyday. I was warned to avoid jb hunt but I was in dire need of a job when I hired on, the critics were right, if you ask to be moved back to general freight they will have a phone conference with you and tell you
You need to do better & that no one leaves the GP account and that they make too much money off the account. You will be run hard and paid as frugal as they possibly can. Hopefully you heed my words and don't have to learn the hard way as I did. I wish you luck with your job Hunting
So ya wanna work for J.b Hunt

Why the heck did you hire on with a starter company with the experience you have?
Kinda seems like you dug your own grave. -
You left out how EVEN when you have 6 witnesses that a car cut in and clipped you while flying thru traffic w/o signals Or room. They will mandate 34 hour break where u are required to do 10 online courses. And even if the report faults 4 wheeler they put "AT Fault " on Dac. You think they screwing you now wait till you leave.

Maintaned a 91% on time dels? That would get you canned at most places, not just trucking del's. You couldn't work at McD's and be late showing up 9%of the time. Now if some of those were truly not your fualt then they shouldn't count against you.

I drove there in 03-05. The worst thing that happened was when night dispatch gave my location to the state police and had them go "check on me." I had been awake all day waiting to get a load and I knew they were going to send me a load at 1am when I was ready to go to sleep.
So I taped up the Qualcomm so I couldn't hear it and went to sleep. I awoke to a loud knock on my door, "Police!!" "Open Up!!" Wth?
JB dispatcher had called the police saying they were worried "something had happened to me," and gave them my Qualcomm location. I was kind of surprised because I didn't think it gave exact locations. Though, I guess the only truck stop in the area would be a good place to look.
I was stunned. Wasting the time of the police I thought was worse than me having to get up and go get a load at 2am after I had been awake all day.
The swivel seat in the truck was great though. I like being able to sit in a chair at the end of the day without looking out the windshield or hurting my back on the door or an armrest. -
I tried to warn you, people...

Jb hunt is not pro driver. They are pro office staff only. Drivers get slammed with no $$$$$$$$. I went poor working there 3 months. But i've had worse. I've had to call police for non payment of services rendered driving for a scum bag owner op. Cops have a good way of "persuading" people. I got paid and thanked the officer.
