Good night from...

Got a call from one of my pod DM's earlier, gave me my monthly review.. strange, first phone call one I've gotten, hell 2nd one I've ever got to be honest..
then I was sent a msg on my delivery for tomorrow and it says, 0800-1600, show up anytime in that time w/ NO svc failure.. sweet.
I hope I can get another long load out of here tomorrow, it is friday and I don't want to be stuck/lost in the weekend load shuffle. Weather is awesome here, no snow today!

 

Anyone p/u a load @ kingsford out in west virginia? And if so do they allow onsite parking?
or is there any parking nearby..?
think im gonna get hosed on this load if I can't park there.

 

Still in Lancaster TX. Done with elogs class, watched some videos to get off safety hold and called my DM about getting me a load. My PTA is still out past 18 hours for some reason and cannot use Mac 30. 34 hour break will be up soon (again), think I will go in and get some southern cookin in the terminal there, very hungry.

 

Zukimart, I think you can consider yourself hosed. The Kingsford plant in Parsons, WV is in the mountains. There is nothing around there but trees.

I should say, I've only been there once. The plant is kind of tight, I don't think there is much room for you to park overnight, but I could be wrong. They are on the south edge of town, so I can't say if there is any place actually in town you could park at, but I wouldn't hold my breath. You will probably come in by US 33 to US219. If you come in from Virginia, you will go thru some 10% grades with some sharp curves. Can't say what it looks like coming from I79, haven't been that way myself.

Crawfordsville, IN. Time to look at the weather channel. See what is in store for me in the near future. Tonight did my good deed for the year. Pulled another Swift truck out of a small hole that he got himself into when he dropped his trailer. The more that he tried to drive out, the deeper the hole.

 

Hiding in my favorite spot in Baytown Texas...... Got dumped by a Swift driver today (female) but I am just fine with it.

Hopefully heading towards Ohio this weekend. We will see

 

Avoca, IA. Can not believe this weather. Got the truck washed today since the weather forcast calls for clear and warm weather all the way to Rapid City, SD, through Tuesday.
