Mobile, al getting unloaded, then blazing to terminal for service. Got a good laught early this morning when I heard on the radio that some teachers in Atlanta are in trouble for using slave refrences in a math quiz. A person can't make skit up like that, but some guy is so upset about it that he wants all of the teachers who came up with the questions and amyone else who MAY have known about it to get fired also. Seems like he wants an example to be made, almost as if there were some lude sex acts involved instead of some off the wall math qurstions.

I understand the reaction to this is way over the wall, but incorporating "Social Studies" into math problems isn't too sharp either. I have issues with our Public School system. Instead of teaching the three "R's" and how to learn, they seem intent on indoctrination into revisionist history, inappropriate behavior etc. Also, remember this was in GA, where there is a huge scandal of re-writing answers to tests, so ill-prepared students can pass the "No child left behind" program.
My favorite teachers challenged me intellectually beyond my expectations, not mediocrity.:biggrin_25521:

The world's most famous trucker? Well thats about as questionable as the his train ride out of Az. that never happen. While Shaker is without a doubt a legendary driver, world famous is a bit much.

Now here is a thing or two you may or may not know, the lady that made that video was in her own right a colorful person. I met Grannymozes twice back in the late 80's or early 90's and she could run that Pete down the road just as hard and good as any man. She passed away in early 2010 at the age of 51 I think. I dont know if she was a member here on the forums or not but she has ties with one member here, can anyone guess who?
Heres a hint, thats Grannymozes driving whos truck?

But how will you EVER get OUT of Key West?

I got stuck down by Miami for 27 hours and had to drive nearly 300 to Jacksonville to get a load!
