not going to go out on a limb here or anything but this thread is the poster child for why truck drivers do a pre trip inspection.

Kinda what I was thinking. If you had done a simple walk around you would have noticed the expired sticker before you left the yard. Go back inside and let them fix it or refuse to take the truck out. period.

They more than likely know you'll quit when you get back to yard.

I would check into the witness protection program. You could still drive a truck for a living, at least you'd always be on the move and makes it harder for the Russian mob to track you down.

I was just talking to a wheel polisher guy with a thick Joysey accent telling me he was a star witness against a mafia don in the 80's, and the government gave him a new identity and job down in the New Mexico desert.

Occ/Acc is Worker's Comp. I remember having a charge for this on my company pay stubs, not just in trucking. Not sure what the law is on it, though. I'm a contractor, so I pay my own. It's like $5/week.

$5.77 Bobtail insurance, and $3.69 glass speaking of which a flock of small birds were flying by, one bird zigged while all his buddies zagged and he hit my windshield. I saw the bird flapping on the side of the road in my mirror.
