Ugly day... After the key fiasco in the Springs this morning, I did Aurora (unload 4, pull 3 out for later,) Henderson (grab one,) Westminster (POV delivery into a neighborhood,) down to Littleton for a drop one, pick one; and back to Aurora to unload everything and reload to get the heck out of here. 13 hours and ~200 miles after I started this morning. Heck with it, nap time.

And yes, tonight I feel like whining a bit! Although the weather was nice here today, so not a total loss.

Well, I suppose it wasn't too horrible at stop #6, having to flirt with the cute receptionist while they hunted up my car. But I don't think she knew who Horshack was either! :biggrin_25511:

    Hiya yourself TB!

I've spent more time lurking than posting lately but lurking keeps me somewhat up to date on some of the goings on around here.

Maine and R C Moore Transportation have both been good to me and for me. Mainiacs, in general, are some of the best people I've had the pleasure to be around in my life.

After 6 months with R C Moore, I have no real complaints. The good outweighs the bad to such a degree that it would be almost sinful to complain. The money's good, the bennies are good, the equipment is well-maintained, and, possibly the best thing on the asset list, my dispatcher is a 30-yr veteran driver.

They have a very respectable percentage of drivers (of the 150 or so drivers) who have been with the company for 20+ years. And, to boot, there's no whining and complaining in the terminal drivers' lounge.

It would take one helluva good opportunity for me to jump this ship!

...welcome to the Laredo terminal. Don't use the showers there.

I'm in Baytown right now. Well, near Houston for those of you unfamiliar. And you Country fans will know that Houston means that I'm one day closer to you. Oh yes, I went 80s Country. Don't make me break out the Oak Ridge Boys 8-track!

That would be Larry Gatlin and the brothers. We gonna start with Elvira, or Settin' Fancy Free? Yep, I'm a country girl myself :biggrin_25514:

Too late. What's wrong with them? Besides being extremely small. They were clean and the water doesn't stink like it does at the Swift terminal.
