ya just have to relax, take a deep breath, and use the air horn on anyone that crosses the white line.. i just did a safety class and it mentioned to use our air horn if we see a distracted driver that could pose a threat to us, so i'ma let it sing!!! i donno what to tell ya bout the bleeding nose, may wanna turn some heat on or get a CarHartt jacket, a baklava hood, and possibly some milk for them bones.

I have been wearing all the heavy jackets I got from Peru, and layers of clothes, and heavy overalls on top ... but when I have to go out, the freezing air hurts my nose, burns my eyes.... It's just awful! and very painful... Was born and raised in a tropical country, have low blood pressure and can't stand much cold, it's in my genes.... besides, don't have any fat to cover my bones... Anyway, will be glad when this winter is over :yes2557: Then it will be other people's turn to complain about the heat..... while I will be rejoicing in the 85F temperature... :yes2557:

Find a way to humidify your truck. It will help with the nose bleeds. And the *$%#ing static electricity....my biggest complaint about winter.

What Injun said... plus anything to cover you mouth and nose, be a scarf, baklava, or facemask. It lets you breath warmer, moister air, and really cuts down that burn. And remember to cover your head, you lose a lot of heat when uncovered; and that will help the rest of you stay warmer.

Peru, Il??? all i know is that i got me a CarHartt Jacket and it's the best thing ever, i'm still trying to break it in though.. and i understand about the being use to humidity and heat.. i'm half haitian, lived in florida ll my life, joined the military and ended up ontop of the Hindu Kush mountain in four feet of snow trying to center a stinger under the front end of a M916 because a genius, and i quote "I swore i could make it". Not to mention the countless times i had to sleep on the ground under my wrecker. But a person gets use to it.. makes them better in the end.

Thanks.... but I must say this truck feels kinda humid already.... I don't idle much and everything feels cold and humid inside. Besides, I cook in here and the steam puts more humidity in here...
