Is there some weird force in Illinois that causes so many truck wrecks? Coming thru Ill. on Friday, across 70, saw signs or remains thereof at least 10 truck wrecks in the last few days. Heck, Kansas is 3x the size and saw signs of maybe 3 or 4.

I'm done fighting this snow and wind today. Been dealing with it since my day started in Canada. Snow. Ice. an unplowed clover leaf exit ramp for my exit. Seeing a pickup truck fishtail just as he passed me today. Nope. I'm done.

 

Near my old stomping grounds. I lived in Erie for a couple years, then down to Edinboro for a couple more. I like Erie.

I am somewhere in MO for a fuel stop which turned into a Moon Pie stop. I need to get the tanks filled up and get back on the road. If not, I might run out of Moon Pies. I chowed down 3 of them, then a friend of mine from school said to have one for her as well. Since she's recovering from foot surgery, I didn't have the heart to deny her request, so I chowed down another Moon Pie.
