Kingman az,after leaving Industry ca At 5pm......its 1am now,after one of the hardest,roughest times i have ever had with swift..........but it sure do pay to be nice once and awhile.........i learned the game a bit in my swift time,lol all the way to virginia.......

 

Oh yeah,heres' something! as messed up as things can get here(well,i mean there in the office) once they catch on........swift can and will do almost anything.....new people,dont fall thru the cracks because that is easy to do here............but be nice

picked up a load of paper and its off to Crashville, TN. Next load picks up in Tennessee and will get me out to Texas.

Putting in for hometime, 10 weeks is enough, im fried.

Tomah, WI. Actually got that load here tonight with one hour to spare. Could not believe that I received a pplan very early this morning. When I saw the phone number, I knew where it came from, PHX. Had to call in and ask about it, and was surprised when my favorite DM with this POD answered. She used to be on days, now on graveyard. I think that this is why the early pplan. (FR8Monkey, I think you know who). PU 60 miles away, then head to Mira Loma for thursday. Was told that I could possibly t-call it in ALB, but I think that I will take it all the way. I will just eat the 1800 miles for this week, and get a great start on the new week, just in case have to sit in CA for 1.5 days again. This DM even told me that if I put in for a t-call or earlier del, and have a problem with the DM's on Mon, here are 3 phone numbers, their immediate two bosses, and if still a problem, their boss. She was one that took care of her drivers and watched out for them.

Had to level up my bed so I wouldn't be sleeping like a bat.

Also this Swift driver came to do some Walmart shopping like the rest of us but parked right in the way of the ingress egress for everybody. Luckily there was not a lot of parked cars behind the little tree island behind him and I was able to turn around there and squeeze out of there. Looking forward to watching the new episode of Ice Road Truckers tomorrow afternoon in the trucker's lounge here at the truck stop--take care!

Spent last night there at the Kwik Trip. 4 piece fried chicken, real mashed potatoes with salad bar, $6.99 ... kept 2 pieces and the roll out for lunch today.
