The first truck I ever drove with Werner, out of Denver, CO back in the day...it was a super 10...FDL Freightliner...
I started with Schneider...so having a long nose really was an adjustment with me...I was use to cab overs...moving into this thing was like moving into a castle compared to Schneiders cab overs, at the time...
Also, Werner use to have cab overs also...
I've never driven a Freightliner cab over before...looks fun...
International cab overs are a piece of cake to drive...
Back in the day...Werner was a real cool company to work for...very cool...

i took this photo, I forget where...but the owner was very friendly...i do remember that...older gent...wasn't stressing over much...and the cab over was restored, looked brand new...
Sad to see these things go...some states don't even allow them anymore... -
I have seen cab overs on the road... and lately have been seeing more than when I started trucking 4 yrs ago. Myself, I wouldn't like to drive one of those because in case of a collision, there's nothing between whatever I hit and I.... Does that make sense?

He's local now, but tells me Cali won't allow his cab over...
It's this kind here...
(This is what I trained to drive in...oh how embarracing...
I thought I was such a big shot too...wow...)
If it's true, what a shame...you would think they would encourage these things since they take up such little space...but I think it's an age issue...not sure... -
