Yes I keep an extra landing gear crank handle as well. Good call, some new drivers wouldn't know to carry one.

Frankly, GOAL seems like a good idea. get your fat ### out and LOOK. simple. Even if it wans't required, I'd #### well be doing it.

Edit: I don't mean YOURS, as in the guy I quoted. Meant in general, I was agreeing with Rocky.

Certainly hope you didn't mean Rocky. It's rude to mention a lady's weight and downright offensive to call her fat!

Picked up a mt trlr the other day w/ the handle bungied to the leg. Lucky for me this has happened to me before, so I had a coffee can with long bolts n nuts to fix it.
Are swift drivers getting this lazy? I mean IF I left a mt trlr in that condition id be charged with fixing it or written up, as my luck goes. Also, please sweep yer trlrs out guys.. pls

drivers are just gonna write the number down once and then never get out.. We all know that.. Just a waste of time and resources.

An experienced driver knows when to get out and look and when they don't have too.

For me I have to send them because I am a mentor and must teach my students.. I ain't happy about it and they know but nothing I can do except follow the rules.

I bungy the crank so it don't flap around and draw attention if I can't get it to rest in its cradle,I believe thats a ticket if it's not secured.......

Blue, you're smart in doing that. Never know if a student is going to rat you out for bending even the most ridiculous rule.

Monkey, you are absolutely right. The crank must be secured one way or another. Everything on the exterior of the truck has to be secured. Ask Blue about his spare tire.

Oh yea forgot about this childish whacky rule.

You have to drive for 11 hours without any food or pee breaks, park on the side of the road wherever your 11 hours is up, then get rolling again right when your 10 is completed. This is the only way you'll make it to your destination and you'll do it because it's legal.
