    Well, that didn't last long.
An hour later I had another load.

Had to hustle to pick it up within my 14, so good night from the TA in Hebron OH.

Mariarity, NM. Was going further, but the heavy winds, crosswise this morning, mixed with heavy snow and mostly packed roads from Meade to just about the TX line, wore me out, that and my sinuses. Well, still have 790 miles to go, and have until 1030 Thursday morning to get there.

Yikes! Lubbock, TX, I-27 @ the Flying J. Watched Red Dawn on TV, and only have 22 hours until delivery. Glad there is plenty to do around here.

Delivered a JIT load today with just 30 minutes to spare from being late. Wow those loads are tight. It was about 650 miles altogether plus a live load so about 12 hours of driving involved plus a 10 hour break plus about an hour extra for the driver is all they allowed. Picked up at 1400 so I knew I wouldn't be able to knock out 11 hours straight thru the night plus I don't like hunting for a parking spot that late so took an 8 hour break after driving/working/getting loaded 4.5 hours then drove another 4.5 hours and had breakfast with 2 hour break then the final miles and delivered. It was pretty cool watching the Elogs tick down, 2 minutes to go, 1 minute to go... I was in gear with brakes released waiting for that DOT clock to flip some hours. Later I see it didn't count against me for an additional 2 minutes so I could have started driving at 2 minutes to go.

J Emporia KS, and Red Dawn was on earlier here as well lol.

Waycross, GA small truck stop off the 82.

Pulled over 3mi from my delivery today, some broken down gas station that looks like banjos should be playing off in the woods, wasn't a comfortable place at all, and here I am the ONLY truck parked. Went into the little store to get some food, hell everything looked like it expired 20yrs ago, soda n smokes it is.
Called my stop and asked for an early delivery, gave them my cell # and was told if we don't call back, deliver in am on delivery apt time, 1hr later hey swift, get over here we have yer mt ready, sweeet, im not gonna get killed tonight, or told I have a purdy mouth...

Asked doc worker for some insite to this little town, gave me ½ ### directions to this lil spot, and it has a McDonalds, yea me, modern fresh food and no banjo rape.
I backed into my spot here get out and WoW, driver next to me, I know from back home in Arizona, trippy.
Pta set for 0100, I foresee a sleepless night.

At home. Coeur d Alene. I've been gone so long I forgot how peaceful the lake is during the winter months.
