Why do people forget passwords?
REASON:
They can't think of something easy to remember that they will never forget but I'm here to help you never forget your passwords!
You notice I said passwords
I have a different password for every website I go to. I do not have any written down not even for my bank which my computer illiterate wife can't forget if she tried to forget it!
Now for all the rest of you guys and gals!
Songs. We all have a favorite one.
Poetry. Some of us bad arse drivers can recite some and might have a favorite.
Even places, bars, restaurants, a street name or a favorite beverage of one kind or another!
Think for a minute or two. You have a lot of time to think as driving makes writers and musicians and poets out of a lot of us! We do have a few mystery writers driving and that includes a husband and wife team writing a log on going mystery series and a musician or two along with song writers so we do have a lot of time to use our brains.
Now we all have at least 5 passwords we use all the time even if we use the auto fill on the computer and if your cookies get wiped or the website logs you out for one reason or another you either have to go to your hide away list to get it or just type it in!
Remember a STRONG password has letters in upper and lower case and numbers and some sites allow symbols that you see when you hit the shift button or some you don't.
OK lets make a password for you to use that will cover every site you go to and will make it a days work for some lowlife hacker to guess!
We all know address's birthdays childrens names and wives are about the first thing these morons hit especially your birthday and the old hard to forget 1234567! That is about the first one they try!
Fro this demonstration we all have 5 websites we go to which are as follows:
Yahoo
Outlook
The bank we all call The Bank
The company site: Trucks are Me
Your favorite porn site called Big Un's in honor of ole AL!
First thing is what will you use to start the pass word?
Lets do poetry!
Mary had a little lamb it's fleece was BLACK as dirt! OK we made a little change if someone was to hear you start it out loud and yes there are STILL shoulder surfers out there!
Next a few numbers that might have meaning to you like an engine size, a gun size or a fanticy of one kind or another!
Then those websites above.
First take the poem you like !
Now look at the words and remember which letters in the poem you will use and which ones will be upper and which one will be lower case.
Here we go! We're going to be conservative as some sites only allow 7 characters and others can go to 16 or more!
Well go with 16!
MDAlliFYHpw600^5
Do you see what I did? 3 upper case 3 lower then 3 upper THEN the websites name broken down to 2 letters in this case YaHoo and then a number that has meaning like a 500 HP diesel engine then a symbol and another number I did ^ for high then the number 5 for high 5!
Now for your company site that has 3 words in it. Do you want to go with the full name or just stick with the first or 2 words that are words and not an adjective just nouns? I will go with nouns but that's up to you.
Many sites are one name and of course there are the 5 word names!
So we'll use TU, 2 letters are the norm.
Your porn site is BU
The bank TB and so on so forth!
You now have a password that in this generation of security at what 264 and higher will make a Cray work up a sweat!
Use a favorite song, the National Anthem or America the Beautiful or Creedence or ZZ Top! Heck even rap! Or country!
Once you have your string and how to use the name and a number 16 letters and numbers and symbols isn't hard to remember!
Now the symbol if it can't be used forget it or try one that you do not have to hit shift with like ,./';][\= and if it still wont take it then forget it.
BUT!!! Yeah there is always a butt!
Every couple of months CHANGE the password sequence! After you have this one down start to think of another poem, song, saying or whatever you can remember ready to change to as hackers never stop just like child molesters and thieves!
Now you can lose the computer but you'll never lose the password!
There are endless possibilities for you to use and remember even after coming out of a coma!
Geeze I MUST be bored tonight!GuysLady Thanks this. -
Bought a freightliner, ex-swift trk, went prowling thru it after I got home and found 4 keys under carpet with trk #s on them. So if your a company driver keep an eye on the people that switch trucks often.

I said it before. Go to a dealer or a locksmith and have new tumblers put in the truck! 2 for doors and one for the ignition! Give the shop a spare OR be there for when they need to put it in the shop and drive it there yourself! Yes it costs but so does the stuff in the truck.
The reasons why they do the keyed the same thing is the mechanics don't have to go to a key box and pull the correct key saving the company maybe 20 minutes a week in payroll plus the cost of those key fobs with the number on it and they all have the same key in their pockets.
It's easier when issuing a truck to a new driver. Hand them a key and a truck number and send them on their merry way and also because they could care less about your stuff in the truck!
Try to get them to pay you back for the CB that gets stolen or the maps or briefcase or anything you are so foolish to leave in your truck while in the lounge waiting for the truck to be serviced!
When you leave the company have the locks put back on or sit and watch how it's done and do it your self and save a few bucks! It's not that hard it just can be a little dirty when pulling the panels off the door but that's a good time to clean them!
But it's funny as heck when some loser tries to open your door when you are sleeping and the key doesn't work! I learned some nice words that way and found out who the thieves at several companies over the years were!
BTW Where do you hang your emergency key? I usually have one under the hood behind something hanging with a piece of old electric fence wire! Those magnetic key boxes just don't stick to fiberglass or aluminum that well and do get shaken loose from the frame!
I also have a few old keys left over from my driving days! I always have a spare made for my wallet for that just in case I lock myself out of the truck deal! I usually give them back but several still stayed behind and are so out dated it doesn't matter anyway! -
The keys didn,t fit mine and from the way they were together was like someone saving them for later use.

I worked for falcon in late 2011 in orientation the instructor said the driver lost it and hit the driver behind the wheel in the head with a hammer at highway speeds which ended in a crash

I think if I did want to whoop the tar out of my codriver, I'd wait till we where parked. But then I'd probably lose, cause I'm not a tough guy, and couldn't get a jump on him.

First, the pic is not cool. I was his wife, the murder victim. Rudy Arnette pled insanity saying it was a commandment of God for him to kill Robert. He got sent to a mental institution in Buffalo, NY only sentenced for 6 months. After the 6 mos are up, he gets examined to see if he's ok to be sent home. Personally, I hope I run into him. I now live in the town he's from and its not unlikely that I will see him at some point. The victim witness people both here and NY have been useless, as well as the detectives in NY. I feel I have the right to know of his release. I couldnt afford to go to the trial so Buffalo News reporters made me & Roberts family sound as if we didnt care. Had I been there, he would be in prison!GuysLady Thanks this.
