Received a preplan again with a pick up town that is not in the atlas and not on any online maps. I didn't want the load anyway, so said no but put in the 'reason' area that no such town exists lol. Elogs blows up, the load is re-offered and re-removed in the same instant, so the csr or whoever sent it could have the last word lol- they sent the directions both mac 12 and 23 to the place, highlighted the name of the town all throughout the messages and added a personal note that Swift pulls hundreds of loads out of there daily 'thank you very much'.
So I waited around til I figured that crew went home and grabbed a mac 30 load. I'm bobtail so asked for a trailer solution, no answer. Called up and they said 'just go to the terminal and get an empty'. Fine, so I do that, but turns out the loaded trailer is here ready to go, I see why he said that, so I wouldn't have to start my Elogs clock just to get to the terminal. Got some trailer issues repaired and looking at my time, decided to camp out and finish my 34 after I found out the true delivery time for the load. Problem here is they don't want you parked hooked to a trailer. I'm hiding out hooked up, security can't see the forest because there are too many trees.

 

Took a preplan early this am... Thought it said pu by 1100 today... Rolled
Towards shipper only to find out they're closed and pu ain't till tomorrow at 1100. Dang, could have had a 34 reset... Don't need it. But always a good thing... Oh well live and learn

 

Still sitting in Percival, IA. Still no decision on where to t-call this load. Looks like for sure need to wait until Monday morning. PO'd. The only two good things, during the day when the lot mostly emptied out, moved next to a dropped trailer, so now no chance of a reefer backing in next to me, and also facing the Super 8. Free internet. YeeHaw. Needed that since nothing else to really do while waiting.

Wanted some home time with my girls by today in Denver, but it couldn't happen.
So I hung on to this load going to Salt Lake (even though it has way too much time to delivery), hoping to gain a load back to Denver this next weekend.

Salt Lake to Denver should be an easy, since I usually bounce back and forth between the two for a week or so after any home time in Denver.

 

Howell, MI in the Home Depot parking lot. Delivery at 07:00.
