Has anyone been by the Loves and Pilot in Memphis IN(I65 x-16)? There was a mention of semi's being tossed around at truck stops in the coverage of that big tornado that hit Marysville and Henryville, IN. Those are the closest, I just wonder if any one was hurt there. I can't find anything online.

I was trailing behind that whole system. I spent the night at the Pilot in Dickson, TN(I40 x-173) not long after the storms were past Nashville. There was hail piled up on the side of the road like snow... When I went in for food, the bottom of the downspouts were clogged with piles of pea and marble size hail. Glad I wasn't there when it happened. They said they locked the store down and took cover and wouldn't let anyone leave. After the pictures I saw of the tornado damage in IN, not sure I would want to be trapped in a Peelot building...not sure about the quality of the construction. I wouldn't want the headline to read...Snackbar killed in a Peelot.

Think most of the damage was at exit 19 service station had some local trucks parked there tossed them around and made a debris pile of the store

Don't know if anyone was hurt there

Thats good. With the way it destroyed solid block houses. A truck in a truck stop would have been a real bad place to be during that bad of a storm.

To tell ya'll the truth...I am kicking myself for not taking that Cascadia they offered me back when my truck got hit. Now, since the ecm update, my cruise control has developed A.D.D. by that, I mean it randomly gets side tracked and forgets to resume itself until it drops down to almost 50 mph then whamo, it hammers the throttle as if it's launching off the starting line at a drag race. If you catch it doing it, you can just slightly touch the gas, and then it reminds it and it picks up like it should. Then the other day I was in Pineville, LA, it was warm and I needed the a/c... The freekin front blower motor is out(breaker wasn't tripped either). Plus on top of that, the q/comm has been blue'g out 3 - 5 times a week...and now I need it to work because I am e-logging. On top of that it has also been delaying on both send and receive lately. The other day, with good signal and in a good cell area, it took 2 hours to send 3 messages. I think a carrier pigeon would have been faster. I threw a bit of a fit at the log-nag about removing me from the e-log system until Crete invests in real equipment that wasn't bought from Bob's bargan barn, electronic refurb outlet and pawn shop...the next thing I see is a voice mail msg on my phone (I have the 402 area code on call block so they can't use my phone until they start paying the bill). It turns out that I got another VP's attention, and he would like to speak to me about troubleshooting my problem...or the equipment's problems I mean. Just what I need...my name on yet another *bleep* list!
