Requesting a non-smoker mentor

Also a smoker, and truck is spottless. Vaccumed every night and even use a Air Purifier in the truck when rolling and stopped just to help clean the air. I also hate the smell of stale smoke so even when stopped, I sit up front and smoke with the window down, just so that it is not in the sleeper. Not all smokers are pigs.

If you get a smoker deal with it or you could be sent home till a non smoker is around to pick you up

 

Waiting works for me. I am an ex heavy smoker and now I get physically ill being forced to breathe second hand cigarette smoke. It is worse for me now than when I smoked my first cigarette and inhaled the smoke. I wish I could apologize to every non-smoker who had to be around me when I smoked in tight quarters with them.

 

I am the same way, ex smoker who cannot stand it. I think it was last winter, Peculiar MO, Flying J, the little TV room was full of smokers. You'd have to walk the smoker's gauntlet to get to the bathrooms. Just pure disgusting. I was getting dinner a little while ago in the TA here, a lady asked for a seat in the smoking section. Waitress told her to go outside for a smoke.

Long story short, I asked for a nonsmoking mentor and after several days, I called driver services and said put me on the very next mentor's truck smoking or not. A better request would be to ask for a safe and sane mentor.

 

Wait for the non smoker. It's sucks to live with a smoker. I don't care what you do vacuum daily or rub green Christmas trees all over, it stinks and you will regret getting in the truck with it.

 

As I sit here smoking my big fat cigar, reading this thread, I laugh. Nonsmokers are funny, he says exhaling.

 

It really depends on the smoker, like heavy or lite. Personally, would prefer a smoker over someone that chews.

 

Would anyone care to hazard a wild guess what percentage of mentors are smokers, please?
50%? 80%? 95%?
