What's considered North West exactly? i know the furthest west i've been is Idaho and that was because i was under a load coming from Billings, Mt going to LA, Cali. I got unloaded in La, and reloaded in San Bern.. headed to Augusta, Ga.. they tend to keep me on the North East section of America because alot of drivers refuse to run up there. I dont have beef with it, i have more issues with Texas and it's on ramps then i do with the traffic in New York City.

Terminal in Atlanta, deliver in College Park in the AM.

Most folks consider the Northern coastal states Washington and Oregon the NW and I guess you could consider the very top of Cali from Redding North part of it since the terrain is similar. Montana and Idaho most consider part of the Mountain West. Billings to LA and San Bern to Augusta sure are nice long runs. Sitting here in Kent, Wa without a load. First time since I've been here having to wait for an assignment. Looks like Wa may be a deadend area.

Still at home! Getting ready for a yard sale tomorrow so I had to go through all my clothes and pick out stuff I don't like for whatever reason and get it washed and ready for tomorrow.

I thunk about it a bit. I know exactly where I'm going this morning.

    Been there before.

Flatbed would never work for me. Tarping even a small load on my pickup is a pain in the tookus!

If you ever mentioned to your DM that you didn't care much for the NE, then they'd try their best to keep you out of it. But if freight gets slow they'll let you know before they shift you back across the river so you can decide if you want to sit or if you'd rather run the NE.

Did it for six months, wouldn't mind doing it again, dont think i'd be able to cut it as a company driver though. If anything i'll probably go over to the end dump side.

Yeah, Mitch is jus a nick name only my DM knows me by, everyone else either goes by my government name or driver code. All three in in recruiting/safety/driver development knows my driver code, it's like the only way they really remember me.
