DashCam: SUV obliterated by semi truck after it crossed into oncoming lanes

2 weeks ago in vail I've seen SUVs just like this one going too fast, too confident too ####y and lo and behold I see an suv on its side, then traffic passing on the left lane way too fast, a f 150 careens into a ditch but self corrects out of it, and a semi was right in his ###. This is why I drive SLOWER than the rest and yes being a swift driver it has saved me a few times.

 

I remember that one too. I saw it on Worlds Wildest Police Chases with Sheriff John Bunnell several years ago.

I have seen this posted and it always stays with you after seeing the vehicle explode into pieces in seconds.

The straight truck also clips the car behind the semi.

 

yeah but it wasnt his fault....

 

How awful both those videos are. My prayers go out to all the victims in those situations. I can't imagine ever being able to drive again if I was the truck driver in either scene.
About 2 months ago my husband and I were heading to San Francisco from Tahoe on the 80, a lady passes us talking on her cell phone, a chp passes us right behind her. She quickly moves over into our lane, we were going about 50mph and she was going about 70, still she cut in close. My husband braked (thank God) cause sure enough the chp pulls in right behind her and both come to a complete stop. Luckily the passing lane was free so my husband was able to move over to avoid slamming into both cars (even at what was now about 40 mph, we would've all been seriously hurt if not worse). When we passed them the patrolman looked scared & angry and yes the lady was still on her phone.
