Oh and watch out, boys, I'll be back in the saddle tomorrow. 5 days at home, if I stay home any longer I won't want to go back on the road and we can't have that. I gotta get back to my head-turning ways. I've been working on my southern accent for opportune times as well as a deep drag queen voice for inopportune times.

Sitting at the receiver, rolling down a two lane road with a center turning lane at 5am with hazards flashing looking for this receiver, only street address i saw was 300yrds behind me.. so i just crept down the center turning lane looking for numbers or a name.. all of a sudden i see a gate, no name anywhere look foward and see a fellow company driver parked in front of a building, name on building is pretty much blocked by landscaping, just as i start to roll past second driveway to building i notice trailers parked behind building with the name i'm looking for. Make a hard left into drive and park behind the other driver. 0630 rolls around and i hear a horn, i hop into the driver seat and see a guy sitting in a car, i put my pass. window down as he pulls up next to me. I start with the morning greeting (ga morning!), his response "what the hell you doing parked right here? I tell ya, the north has gone to skit!!!! People are just so unfriendly up here or at least between the top of Delaware and the bottom of Conn.

 

Kingman, AZ. Tried out this new sleeping mask last night since I have this incredible skill of parking in front of the brightest light possible and this truck doesnt have cabin curtains. Worked pretty good but took some getting used too.

 

Tryin to avoid the "mask" might even quit the brewski to do so.. The "ULTIMATE" sacrifice. Me,I'm home kinda sorta..Home Sweet Home..Now,where's Dorothy? I know the flyin monkey's don't have her,as I saw plenty of them last night. (Their kinda cool) once ya get to know em.

 

Been here for 6 days. It has rained 5 with partial sun yesterday. Sunshine on wet pavement. Yep, it can get darn near depressing in the winter months, but summers are great.
