The only "vesting" is you !
Will you make it to the end for retirement ?
Some here's some facts which I've stated on another thread if you haven't read already.
There are more "non union drivers" then Teamster drivers.
You have no say over your benefits, or pension.
UPS controls there benefits & pension for there drivers and only have to use Teamsters for contract negotiations.
They paid Teamsters to take control of there own drivers.
They were the largest payer for H & W payments.
If you don't make it to the end to retire, you get nothing.
Got 14 yrs with the 2 union driving jobs I had, and both carriers are gone.
There were drivers, who were a lot closer to retirement then I the union never helped them out for other employment so they could finish and collect their pension.
They got to keep all the payments the carrier made to Teamsters on your behalf.

Hate all you want, 99.9% of non-union, company drivers will never make remotely close to what union drivers make per hour and benefits.
Mattp - there are sucky unions out there, but Local 25 in Boston isn't one. They are powerful, and you will make money driving for a Local 25 shop. Some of these guys who ##### about unions sucking belonged to joke locals... -
I know 40 hrs is 1,000$

Been with Holland since 9/12/11. Love it so far. I come from an otr sleeper company making 36cpm and paying 180 week for family health. Now I'm at 46cpm and pay nothing for way better family health. 50 month for union dues. (well worth it). I grossed 70k last year. The best I ever did otr sleeper was 50k. I get paid for everything I do and sleep in hotels. Home on weekends and some during week. Go to yrcregional.com to see if they are hiring at terminal near you. Said they will hire again after the new year. Merry Christmas all!

ya know,,,,I read these forums and rarely find anyone to say anything good about any company. I mean for real people, their not supposed to wipe your butt for you..like asking who should be president.
