Hubby is on his way home! He will make it in by Sunday afternoon. Not what we had hoped for but grateful all the same. Right now in Arkansas and heading to Memphis.
Good night from...

Phoenix, still.
They keep sending me the same pplan over and over.
1070 mile to TX, near Dallas, delivering by 2100 tomorrow.
It's nearly 1700 right now.
I've been up since around 7 this morning, and I am not about to run 500 miles tonight without a break, take a 10, then run nearly 600 tomorrow without a break.
And even then, it wouldn't get there until after 2200.
The last attempt was sent with a message from a planner saying 'OK to PU late. No service failure"
OK - how about saying 'OK to deliver when you said you could, no service failure'.
And then put those dates and times in the load assignment!!!
(Oh, and the loaded miles have gone down from 1016 to 1001 - while the actual GPS miles remain at 1068.) -
In Amarillo at the Petro. I asked about the trailer inspection but this being a live unload Monday at 8 am not sure if I need one but will ask again, Sounds like Monday will be along day waiting to get unloaded..

No Mac 30 yet... My miles are way down... Last three weeks I averaged 500 miles Mon- Fri. But always seem to get shafted on the weekend... The load I was on last weekend was going to deliver @ 0600 on Saturday... Woke up with a message saying delivery changed to 1700 on monday... Asked multpy times for a PTA change or t-call. I got neither... So got about ten preplans and had to decline all of them. Load acceptance went from 80% to less than 50%... What to do...

Ignore it, I guess.
After turning down that load so many times, which I could never deliver on time in any case, I was sent another.
Pick up 60 miles away at 0309.
A Walmart load.
1st stop... 2nd stop...
Then the final is a drop back at the shipper by 0730.
108 loaded miles.
I guess I am bring punished. But, no valid reason to turn it down.
At least I am being allowed to bobtail to the pickup. -
when i worked for swift last year, I had one load that I turned down 5 times but they never took it off of me and I argued that I didnt have the hours to deliver it on time but still got a sf on it, good luck to you

Off my 11 ... worked just short of 12 on my 14 ... These roads had 20MPH painted in 10 foot high letters on the hairpin turns ... beautiful spring day, pretty country and going slow enough to enjoy it.
Flying J, just outside Nashville on the 40. -
I'm in Georgia too. Some reason they routed me along an historic road that ran parallel to I85. Rolling past plantation mansions and stops lights every 100 yards on skinny little streets is hard work. Jumped on the interstate and saved half an hour of drive time off what the GPS said.
Loaded this AM (Sunday) and headed for Chicago area for Tuesday morning. -
Arrowhead Travel Plaza, Pendleton, OR which is nothing more than a McDonald's with a pricey tourist gift shop. All the parking is on a hillside so not very comfortble sleep. Going to run this load into Tacoma to a Love's 5 miles from my delivery 930a tomorrow.
First time down Cabbage yesterday afternoon was easy. Ran 6th gear, jake on high and only touched the brakes waiting to get around a land yacht going 20mph.
Happy Easter,
Frank -
Gonna catch up with the Native American gal who may not be named here? LOL!inkeper Thanks this.
