Ardmore, OK... Third nights a charm right?

Sumner, WA terminal. Place is jam packed with loaded trailers and not many drivers. I'd be out at the Loves if there was room since I universally detest being in terminals. Deliver 968 cases of tequila in the morning and have a pplan for a Home Depot d&h from the dc in Lacey going to Omak, Wa 272 miles up in the mountains to a store. Suspect I'll be hauling paper this week...
Frankscottied67 Thanks this. -

Good night from Salt Lake City, UT Found a quiet spot in the back. Then two reefers parked on each side of me! Dang the luck... 3:30 comes early!

Got fuel yesterday at the Petro in Atlanta, made it to Mt Vernon IL TA this morning my comdata card wouldn't take. So's I go in the fuel clerk says Swift is cut off for not paying their fuel bill. Fine, went next door to Pilot for fuel and Denny's for breakfast. Shooting for Morris this afternoon. Delivery in the AM.

Had one of the best nights sleep in weeks... Woke up and peered out to see three empty spaces on each side... I need a hobby I can do while on down time. Still in Ardmore

Nah ... I and friend of mine have run into that before. For some reason TA/Petro have got it in thier heads that if our fuel cards don't work at the pump, Swift doesn't want them to turn it on from the inside.
Decided to go ahead and take a 34 here in TX and finish my taxes.scottied67 Thanks this. -
Still in chilly Phoenix.
Did another Walmart load this morning.
As soon as I got back to the DC I received a message from the planner there asking if I was going to accept the pplan before someone else snagged it.
And just then I get a call from my DM asking the same thing.
Well, I told him, I would but I never got the QC.
So he sent it to me and I accepted it before I unhooked my mt.
A nice 1800 mile load going to Indianapolis, so getting me closer to home, picking up 0800 on the 10th and delivering anytime on the 13th.
We each thanked each other for helping each other out.
Then I did one more small favor for her.
She needed one of her new trailers moved to Phoenix, and since I needed to go to Phoenix to find an mt for my next load I was happy to ablige.
Someone at the Phoenix terminal told her that he would get me a trailer in the morning, so I am bt here at the Flying J.
Glad of it, too, since this place is bumper to bumper today.
So that load that I considered punishment when I first got it turned out to be a blessing.
Got a couple little loads that were pretty easy, got a nice load with some real miles and in the right direction, and I made a new friend.
scottied67 and fr8monkey Thank this. -
In Laredo at the terminal, I dropped this morning and got a 1100 mile PP out of here but had to turn it down do to hours. My DM called me and agreed to turn it down.Got another PP, a small run up to Houston for a Del on the 11th so I can get a restart in and start fresh.
