El Paso. Picked up the recovery truck. Took it through the blue beacon. cleaned up a little bit inside. Was told at the terminal that they, in El Paso, don't clean the trucks. Well ya know what? Neither do it. I gathered up all the crap and loose papers and...hey he left two cupcakes!...and threw it all into one of the larger cabinets for someone else to clean out when I get this truck back up to Indy.

..then I get to take Greyhound back to Denver to pick up my truck. Yay.
Btw, it was 12 hours from Denver to El Paso and I was on one of those Autobus Americanos buses that normally go to/from Mexico. They run teams and there's a sleeper berth in the bus near the back for the co-driver. Wicked!

p.s. "Prince of Persia" is really boring when it's in Spanish, even with Jake Gyllenhaal in it. (he's so hot) I also found out our driver once flew past a weigh station in NM because he thought he didn't have to stop and he got a $162 ticket. Since then he always stops at the Trinidad scale (NB) or the one on the NM side (SB) when running I-25.

Not too bad. Got all the early-part-of-the-job crapola pretty much done. Truck is good...miles have been better than SNI...overall, a good change so far.

Hoping things are well with you as well!

Bumpers and Pack are both within shoutin' distance, yet so darn far away :biggrin_25510:

Glad to hear things are going well for ya, Pack. SNI is still my home away from home.....just waiting for that permanent full time position, but I'll stay temp as long as they'll have me.

Bumpers, if you have an extra drink around somewhere, you might find that 5th :biggrin_25522:(did the :biggrin_25522: thingy just for you :biggrin_25525:)

    48Packard Thanks this.
