Fred is home for a minute. This is the 1st time he's had a load coming through Birmingham and been able to take his 10 at the house! He actually will get 10 plus some. His load doesn't deliver until 15:00 tomorrow and it's only a 3 hour drive from here.

Edit: You know what, this may be his 2nd time now that I think a little harder about that.

 

Got to the first of 4 stops today after banging out almost 800 miles, only to discover they loaded the first store's product in the nose of the trailer and the last store's in the rear. So had to break out my hammer and nail bar and uncleat the entire load, unload the entire trailer and reload and re-nail everything down and re-secure with the load bars. Luckily I had a 1 pound box of 2-1/2 inch galvanized sinkers on board already for a project I'm thinking about, so I didn't have to straighten all those bent up nails that didn't come out of the glue-lam deck so easy.
When I sent the Depart from 1st stop macro, there was an error so called it in and found out they expected me to go from St Louis MO yesterday noon, down into the 1st stop in Texas, then make the final 3 stops which are 350, 110 and 100 miles apart by 1700 today.

We are out in the middle of nowhere Texas, peanut butter and jelly for dinner yum.

Not to be rude, but you know nothing about me. Others here do. My wife just arrived from China 3 weeks ago, and knows very little English.

 

Back here in Sweetwater. After taking almost 5 hours to find me a mt, 5 miles up the road, got back to Sweetwater and the place had already closed. It is okay. really did not want to sit in Laredo for 2 evenings. T-Call this load there, then pu in San Antonio on Saturday, then onto PHX for Monday morning. then there for two days while the truck heads to KW.

 

Still in Calgary AB finishing my 36, Got a load going to Spokane WA in the AM for 438 miles,,I get this feeling they are going to send me right back up here again .. Anyone know if it's more CPM for Canadian runs ? I thought it was 39 CPM but it didn't show on my pay yet,,Just the 25 bucks for the border crossing pay..

Well after a wild day with student getting angry and taking the truck into two lanes swerving back and forth and causing everyone behind him to not be able to pass. serious road rage in a 18 wheeler he is off my truck! Then he threatens to punch me after I made him pull over and get the hell out of the seat before he kills someone.

Of course got it all on video including audio... What does Swift do put him on strict probation and send him out with another mentor. This guy is gonna kill somebody you can bet on this.

Finally some peace in my truck !
