At home getting ready to re-live yesterday's nightmare...

Delivered rock to Plevna (Venture Const site). Nearly impossible now to get a big truck in and out of there since they have the asphalt plant up and running. Next delivered soybeans from Sylvia elevator to Bunge. It took 6 hrs to get unloaded. I think every hopper-bottom and end-dump from the state was there. I guess that happens when beans are at a record high. It looked like harvest time in there, and seems that Bunge is running out of room.

So this morning I leave to go back to Plevna, and I know our dispatcher will have me load beans out of Sylvia again. This pays so well, that waitresses in the worst paying restaurants are paid better.

The dispatchers should start giving you tips for taking these loads, Eaton. Or maybe the waitresses will share their tips with you :biggrin_25523:

Time for me to head south for another exciting day at work. Have a great and safe day, y'all

    Bumpy and Eaton18 Thank this.

As a matter-of-fact;this place had their "cloaking device" on..It was invisible, and no one on the phone here knew where it was.(is):biggrin_25511:

And now for the unenviable task of:Breaking in a NEW pair of sneakers..Why is it when something is broken in,whether jeans,(rip in crotch)work boots, sneakers etc..right where one wants it..I have to get a NEW whatever? Huh? :biggrin_2556: And when the load was off;I went in to tell the office lady how much I liked her TX accent, and she gave me a NEW baseball cap.-Told me I needed one. It is kinda cool though-My NEW 'Tropical Roofing Cap':biggrin_255:
