Getting ready to go, and this really, really sucks!!! Ok, I know I don't really have it that bad. I don't have to sit in docks for days on end waiting for a load...

Anyway I have to be in Winfield, KS at 7am with CKD. We load the CKD in Chanute, KS. They're not all that far apart. It's only around 2.25hrs, and Chanute (Ash Grove) can load anytime after midnight. I must make 2 loads to Winfield. So about the best way I can figure, is that I have to drive 1.5 hrs to Chanute, then take a 10. That way I'll have a fresh 11/14 to make both loads.

So I'm leaving the yard at 4:30pm, driving to Chanute, should be there by 6pm. I'll have my 10 at 4am, when I can load, then leave for Winfield by 4:30-4:45am, which should put in Winfield around 6:30ish. Turn and burn back to Chanute for another load.

Anyway since I get paid % of truck, don't get lay-over pay, I must drive and sit for FREE, and we had our granddaughter this weekend. This is where % pay pay just plain rips us off!!!
