this went well as such transitions should be possible to do ......
I do not find the screen to be "jarring" in any way, though I am an accomplished coder and can hunt for "where the buttons went" rather well so great thanks for the transition as I find the new screen to be appealing where the previous one was just "not bad"
iow I like it better

Staying logged in should be the default setting. I'll look into this.

The 'Last Visited' date is still there, just go to the user's profile page and look along the left side or all the way down at the bottom.
The current vBulletin search is no better and no worse than the old search, so looking up companies is the same as before. Replacing vBulletin search with Google is on the to-do list. -
I believe the font size in posts hasn't changed, you're experiencing an optical illusion where the empty space on your screen is making everything else seem smaller.
Your internet browser should have the ability to increase the page size, so that's an option if you're having trouble getting used to the new layout. -
That's it!
High-resolution clothes!
Why didn't I think of that?!?!?
Look out world....where are those high-resolution disco pants I had back in '79???Rick_C and bullhaulerswife Thank this. -
Looks great!!!!... You are right though... like waking up in the morning and having no Dr. Pepper's around.
Mark48Packard Thanks this. -
The old forum sure did look better. This one is generic and run-o-mill bland. But I'll get used to it and all your hardwork with the behind the scenes duties is sure appreciated.

I logged onto the site several times and kept thinking I was on the wrong (other cheap) site.
It looks like....Welcome walmart shoppers : ( " flushing toilet sound "
Thumpertalk did this a few years back, the site almost died before the owners changed it back.
Good luck
