That's my "Twilight Zone." Ugly day up here by the lake,but at least I am not in a Big Truck..Disclaimer: In NO way am I trying to rub anyone's nose in it;Worry not..I will be back in the Truck and mildly depressed in a couple days..

 

champaign playing the Kraft game. At least this time the dispatcher was nice to have me bobtail over a 2:30 AM to the road ranger and sit instead of at the drop yard.

Might go over to Malwart area and have a better selection of food.

Days Inn, Wichita.... my truck broke again. Caterpillar is working on it. I can't seem to get more than 20# oil pressure. This started this morning. Pulled off highway, checked everything I could think of. Full of oil, engine not hot, oil temp not hot, no leaks. Called our shop, he thought it was just a sensor. Told me not to worry about, just watch the pressure. I was unloaded at the time, and told him I was enroute to get reloaded. Well after loading with about 54k rock, things got worse. So called the boss/owner. He told me to head to Caterpillar.

They replaced the sensor which did not correct it. So now I sit in a motel. Better than sleeping in truck, but my paycheck is going to really suck this week.

 

I'm sitting in beautiful Bloomsburg, NJ. Who wants to buy me a cup of coffee?

 

I hate NJ... and NY.... I'm at this awful TA in NJ... this freaking parking lot has absolutely no lights at all!! And soo tight, so crowded... Poor Peterbilt here is taking a loooooong time to be able to park in complete darkness... I feel sorry for him...
