I hear you Brsims... and totally agree with you! I hate NJ! Last night fueled at Pilot in Denver.... :biggrin_25510: That's a real craphole... Difficult to get in and out, very tight, ugly, dark.... You know, I never did what you and so many other drivers do like "create" a parking spot. I get so overly concerned of being in someone's way, or someone will hit me or someone will knock on my door and ask me to move... I wouldn't be able to sleep either. But I see many folks do that late at night in congested truck stops... and as much as I understand the lack of parking for big trucks, it's annoying having to drive very carefully in those tight mazes they create... specially when it's dark... :biggrin_2554: It hasn't been very hard to find parking spots for I've been driving at night. But I always try to get the easiest one for when I leave at midnight or so... :biggrin_25525:

Ohhh... Teddy_Bear, I'm sorry to hear about your injury...:biggrin_2557: At least no broken bone... :biggrin_25519: Isn't there any kind of wrist support, something you can wrap around your wrist to give extra protection and support? Also what about wearing gloves? Be careful girl...

Today I am feeling tired, really tired (but couldn't resist visiting here with you guys...) Will go to bed soon. One more night driving and then will slowly go back to day driving and night sleeping.
Got a nice compliment from another driver today... :biggrin_25520: He and I kept passing each other in the CO and UT hills last night. I am light and he was heavy, so I would pass him going up and he would pass me going down. We both fueled at same truck stop and as we walked by each other, he told me, "You are good driver..." :biggrin_255: And I replied, "You too...." :biggrin_25525:
In UT now, going to CA tomorrow.

I was going to go to whatever TA that is before Seattle, then I thought to call a farm in Ellensburg,WA where I picked up a load a couple weeks ago..To my surprise he answered;and even more to my surprise he remembered me.

I asked him where a poor, feeling sorry for himself middle-aged White Boy could have some fun in Ellensburg today;and he told me to run the truck out to his place cause they are having a PARTY there.:biggrin_25519:

    Hmm....What to do..Mi Vida Loca. How I love it.:biggrin_255:

VERY happy to hear that! PAM would do that 22 or 23 hour thing to keep from paying for a 24 hour layover. As I got closer to my end of time with them it always seemed to get worse.

At this point I am VERY happy with local hot shot and would almost never drive a big truck again....
