Got to the load off and going to SC for the next stop, the truck blew its clutch to pieces while downshifting off Fancy Gap, hoping my battery pack will hold out until this line clears up. #8 on the list, worst part, I'll be here till tomorrow afternoon. Load will be 3 hours late...
Anyone hate how the exit for the Love's is right at the bottom of old Fancy? That is how I blew the clutch. My fault for letting the truck get to much speed.

 

Dallas at the Ramada for possibly a few days, truck is at kw body shop since yet another vantard err van driver backed into me last night. Cant be driving around with a dented hooptie, what would all the hot lady truckers think...oh wait.

I wouldn't mind Miss TeddyBear dispatchin' me one bit - hmm, wonder where she'd tell me to put it - the truck that is? LOL!

They got me a delivery city, they got me a rate (not bad at all coming off the east coast,) they even got me a pickup point. Nobody's lettin' on where this stuff is going!

I was actually going to call my company TBD LLC. Just cuz i put TBD into the business plan.

Greazy dive in beresford. At least its not full of trucks idling like the flyin hook or other big name truck stops. Should sleep well tonight.

 

Well, since I only do a small amount of the dispatching, and it's for a dedicated account, I wouldn't tell ya to put the truck too far. The gal that does the dispatching has been doing it for several years, and she makes it all look so easy. I only do the small stuff, like when a driver can't make a load, then I get to figure out who to put it on, or who to switch around to make the OTD. It used to bother me to have to call a driver and make sure they are going to be there to get the load. Doesn't bother me at all any more. I'd be nice to ya, IP.

I'm surprised there haven't been more trucks go over on that ramp. Sorry about your misfortune....but glad it isn't worse.
