I have two Full Throttles in my ice chest, and I am waiting for another driver to arrive with a load I will repower to Alabama. The way it worked out, I will have to drive two overnight shifts to make on time delivery. I am bummed, because I orginally thought I would get a 34 this weekend. I'm a little (a lot) disappointed. I won't take my frustration out on the other driver when he/she arrives, because it's not his/her fault. S*%# happens: Hours of Service, breakdowns, accidents, bad weather, a need for home time, and of course, the biggest time vampires of all, the ########s who ship and receive,...... the, uh, Shippers and Receivers. The people who, for example, held me captive in California for 36 hours once, waiting on Cantalope to come in from the fields. ( I don't CARE about getting detention pay. Who wants to sit in a truck in a dirt parking lot for a day and a half? Well, I mean, I guess it was okay. They DID provide a plastic s******. And a soda machine) Anyway, the point is, s*%# happens, and here I sit at a Peelot in Missouri, waiting for the other truck to arrive so I can get my repower on. Their ETA is around midnight. At that point I will have a nice fresh 11 and 14, my Jimi Hendrix greatest hits cd in the player, and I will take off totally legal, and totally exhausted. But that is why I have the two Full Throttle energy drinks in my ice chest.

Wanna talk about #### happening. Im currently sitting in the truck at the hoboken bus terminal with no hours. Was trying to do a split sleeper but got lost and ran out of hours. No food, no water and i was supposed to be home tomorrow morning. Everything that could go wrong, did on my first two days solo.
