Still in Hot Springs, AR. It's 12:30 in the afternoon, and the turbo has yet to arrive.

The guy with the wagon is letting the horse drink at the stream, while he jaws wid his cousins. You were expecting FedX maybe?

Yes... that's Love's.... I kinda realized it might be full on Sat afternoon, so I didn't try getting there as I would take xt 127 to the shipper... Yes... I was at Pilot in Tumwater. It had plenty of parking when I got there and the whole weekend... not bad. Left this morning, got one load, now at second shipper just waiting. Got here early cause first shipper was really fast and I was early. But the second one is running late, didn't start yet...
Oh, thank you for the info on Cabela's... Thought about going to WalMart at that exit for my groceries but with this e-log here and company's rules about personal conveyance... I didn't bother....

Had a choice before..Take an O.D. load to Baltimore or 3 cement mixers on a flat to Seattle. I really thought about running to Baltimore.I really did.

I am starting to wonder if TX and/or the whole SW hasn't seceded from the Union?
Eh,it's all good..P on it.

...and my truck repair from hell continues. New turbo arrived. Old one apparently was just too tight or something (I'm at the point where I really don't care), and the studs were damaged....SO.....new studs have to be sent over from who-knows-where. I'm in a motel for yet another night, down for a good part of tomorrow (as the part won't arrive until at least 10AM). Fortunately, if and when the studs arrive, I should be out within an hour or two.

Droped my iron on the port of Savannah Georgia and waiting on a permit for a load going to Miami then home,,,, well I hope home but the way heavy is moving any place I lay my head is home.

Hope you get out of the shop and back on the road, sucks being down but better than completely down.48Packard Thanks this. -
It could be worse... if it happened across a major holiday with JIT being what it is there would be no turbo for a couple of weeks. Been there, done that - two weeks in a hotel trying to scrape up a turbo. Nothing special... just a current production model with an assembly line shutdown over Christmas and New Years.
Lewiston ME. Get to do my obligatory local run because I delivered to this little hell-hole.aiwiron Thanks this.
