Oakland, NJ getting loaded with trade show goodies bound for Boston. A bit over $4 / mile including deadhead and before you ask - yes, there's detention after 3 hours. Getting a good load OUT will be the trick.

John Anderson is cool;but Tom Petty is a tad cooler IMO. Unless that is the 'John Anderson' who belted out the song "Swingin" 30 years ago or so...Then it's a toss-up..:biggrin_255: I'm very happy in the 'Hotel Minnesota' I know...Hard to believe,eh?:biggrin_2556: Sleepy Eye to be exact..

O ya, eas to secure. Throw straps, add edge protection, tighten straps...

John Anderson did sing "Swingin", if I remember right. Long before I was born though.

I'm at this very small BP fuel station in WI. I know trucks park here cause saw marks of tires and oil on the ground but since early this afternoon I've been the only one here... Looks like this place can accommodate 5 trucks maximum. P/up tomorrow morning 10 mins from here, then going to SC, and then to NY. Just finished cooking my meal here and it smells good. :yes2557: Rice, beans and some vegetables. :biggrin_25519: ...and now will prepare some sandwiches to consume during my driving tomorrow.

I've asked you before, JB, but can't remember where the yard you go to in KC is located.

Off 435/210 between Worlds of fun and the Mighty Mo (Where the Steamboat Casinos lie). Really nice location and good facility too for the Drivers.
