Sure is my company stores stuff there. A lot of stuff and we can't even get loaded out of there in a timely manner. Always have to make calls to the higher ups every time I'm there.

I dont usually get worked up out here anymore..Today I did though. Found the jobsite in Greeley,CO and after FINALLY finding the subcontractor there, and backing into a spot I would hesitate to do with my pick-up..Was told that it was the WRONG unit.
Sooooooooooooo, had to drive down to Englewood to a Winslow Crane to get it off-loaded.
I know..What a whiner,eh? In Little America,WY now though and one Happy Lil' (I ALMOST said Trucker) ah....Camper.

Eaton, OH. bears are out in force here. from Cleveland to Columbus must have been 35-40 units all with radar guns.

I thought that was an everyday normal thing in OH.
-
this was extreme, every couple miles was someone pulled over or one/two waiting in the median

It was like that on I-81 in VA last week.

Back home for Independence Day. Our granddaughter and niece are here. We shot off our night-works last night since we have to take our niece home today. It's very, very dry here. The sparklers and some of the mortars were starting small fires in the grass. The girls were excellent fire fighters. We had our garden hose out and ready. One of the girls would light, the other stand ready with the hose. Well they're not that young any more, both around 12. Really is starting to make me feel old. Really would rather that grandkids stay little, for a little while longer anyway!!!
Don't know how you drivers do it, be away from family during important times. Independence Day is a family holiday around here. Kids grow up too fast, move away, or you loose them and it tends to take away from somethings. Granddaughter lights all the fireworks now. It used to be up to grandpa or grandma, she was too skeered. She'd run and squeal when they went off, now not so much.
With the way this country is being herded, I worry that this day will no longer be the same. So I think we need to celebrate while we still can. If things work out for the best, well we've not wasted anything, if not......
For awhile I thought I was going to be stranded on the road. My truck was over-heating, loosing coolant, but could not find out where. The alarm would sound, then when I stepped off the pedal, it would shut-off. Pulled into a T/S, put 4 gallons of anti-freeze and 2 gals of water in. Enough to make it back to the shop. Once there I could finally see the area where it was loosing it, but not specifically. It wasn't a hose, but a metal, junction looking thing. (I'm not a mechanic, especially not a big-truck mechanic). It had a few hoses screwed into it. Made it back, didn't burn the truck up. Oh and it didn't even get hot all the way back. The odd thing (for me anyway), was that the oil temp would get almost up to the red line before the coolant temp alarm would kick. Truck is full of oil though.
Anyway, I hope you all have a the best day that you can!!Dave 1960 and teddy_bear6506 Thank this.
