Smaggs, I thought for sure you were going to be a Knight lifer. Does this mean the Smaggs knight fest is over?

Really, I think we are on the same page. I left because of a cut in pay. I took a lot of BS from Knight loyalist for my honesty. But I work for money. If Knight wants loyalty, they need to be loyal.

Dallas terminal is a real pit. I say " anywhere but Texas. " Sorry Texans, I love your state, It's the Dallas terminal I avoid. I would rather cross the country above Amarillo. It is the rotten attitude they have. I pretty much got along with the other regions of the country.

During orientation they said report any new damage to the trailer. If it has been repaired like this, you don't need to report it.

After an confidential moment out on the road. I found a hole ripped in the side of the MT. I went to home depot and filled it with silicone the same way they fix them.

Tadaaaah! according to the rules, I don't need to report this.

Fontana yard. I need an MT for A-B in Van Nuys. 3 drivers tell me these 3 trailers have wiring problems. I am dropping. I hook on to one of those no good trailers and drop it at A-B. Hey they pay me by the mile. Some poor driver got stuck on that one but some one had to take it to the shop. better them than me.

Ever find an MT with dried potatoes stuck in the floor? I hear they come out easier when they are dry. I wonder???

In a central California drop yard. 3 loaded trailers sit with refers running. I am told to wait over the weekend and live load on Monday. I could sure use the work. Then one of the refers ran out of fuel. I left and went to the truck stop. No favors for me/no favors for you. They sure paid for making me wait.

 

You're the type of driver I would give a swift kick in the rear for...I can't stand drivers like you...you deserve to charged for the drivers down time for that...

There's NO EXCUSE for doing this garbage!!

 

and precisely why I thank my lucky stars everyday I'm no longer with Knight. Never in my life did I see so much broken junk passed onto the next guy. No thanks, I have better things to do. I hate big companies and the habits of the "fellow" drivers.
